I had leaks, but I'm also not completely sure it wasn't water running down the line. If you have the optional tie-outs, they definitely leak...
I'd seal it.

Talk about excited!!! I just realized that I ordered this tarp on the 25th and got the shipping notification on the 26th! I can't believe the level of service that these guys are able to put out and keep up with. Great job and keep it up!!!!

i have 4 rainy nights on my OMW and 6 storms on my Tadpole.
i have yet to see a need to seam seal.
IT CAME!!! in an envelope to boot. This tarp packs down SO SMALL! Unfortunately I have to work today so pictures will have to wait.

I know I couldn't believe it was my tarp when it arrived. It is so small and light. My amazement was only exceeded by the fact I was able to get it the stuff sack. I have used it in three rain showers this winter in the back yard
(I'm in central California) for a total of about 1 1/4 inches of rain, not a lot but steady with no leaks. The customer service is great, everyone here trying to sell items should learn from them. Good luck with your tarp

"Nice Pen, I Bet It Writes Some Really Nice Stories"
I didn't seam seal my Tadpole for about a year. I never experienced a really heavy rain storm under it when I was camping, but I did get quite a few light to mild showers. I figured it was water tight after experiencing no leaks under light/mild rain. After about a year, I decided to string it up in the back yard when I knew a bad storm was coming, and the ridgeline did leak.
Long story short -- I'd recommend seam sealing it. It's probably the best tarp at the price points, so you might as well make it bombproof to boot.
