Just ordered the tadpole!

I'm so excited, I just canceled my order for the Edge tarp and placed an order for the tadpole which comes with free shipping. I can't wait till it gets here!

I ordered one last night myself. I can't wait to get it strung up in the yard and try it out. I'm interested to see how much my entire setup will weigh. I'm guessing it will be under 2lbs for the hammock, tarp, suspension, guy lines and stakes but I'm hoping to get down under 20oz. or less.

I seam sealed my big daddy, but I'm not sure you need to. I just wanted the extra security. You could call or email Marty at Wilderness Logics. He is really easy to work with and should be able to tell you what he recommends.

marty told me neither yes or no.... he explained its a french seam, and people haven't reported leaks,,,,but he didn't claim it to be 100% waterproof.

i sealed mine because i wasn't explicitly told "it doesn't need to be seam sealed"
