would you seam seal the ridge on the Mamajamba tarp? some say to do the pullouts but how about the top?..

Agreed.. pull outs only.
Ive never seem sealedy WB and i pretty much only get out in gnarley weather and its never leaked on me.
Same here, no need to do it. You can if you want and some people do but it's not necessary. Both my WB tarps are still keeping me dry after 6 years.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
thankee thankee...
No sealing on my ridgeline or pullouts.. been in plenty of downpours and not a drop to contend with.
Only thing I sealed is the 2QZQ pole mod ribbon sewn on the ridgeline.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

At first I didn't seal my pullouts, but after a few months it started leaking. It's inevitable since you're dealing with thread. While very small, those holes and material will wick water.
My pullouts leaked as well. It wasn't a concern when pitched in A-frame style, as the water dripped down the side of the tarp with no impact.
But when I had it in porch mode, it could hit my gear or myself if I was sitting there boiling water.
Superfly pullouts didn't leak on 1st use. 30mph gusts & heavy downpours in the Keys.
