    Claytor Diamond Rain Fly Weight

I was wondering the weight of the Tom Claytor's (www.mosquitohammock.com) Diamond Rain Fly that was talked about in a couple of recent discussions here on the forum. (Didn't see it in those discussions). So I wrote him and he answered -- very courteous and prompt!! So I thought I would put it in a thread here.

Tom Claytor -- Diamond Rain Fly (diamond shape 13'x10') is 600 grams. (That is 21.1643772 ounces according to google).

I think I just might buy a couple of these instead of diying for now...

Neo, which do you like better, the diamond or the 4m x 3m tarp? I need a new tarp and am going to switch to either one or the other. I like the look of the diamond, but I'm using a 10x12 blue walmart tarp now, so I'm used to the rectangle shape and extra room.
    Thanks
