Welcome from Memphis.
Welcome from Memphis.

Welcome big guy There are quite a few heavy hangers so you will be in good company. Glad to have you here.
Welcome.
It would be great for hammock camping to see the makers post the modifications they'll make to their hammocks so they are as safe as for lightweights. Easy, and for less cost than making a wider or longer quilt.
There is no more comfortable way to sleep.

Welcome -- I am in the almost 6 ft club at 290 lbs (down from 300) and use a HH explorer delux -- which I am sure the wt limit is very close to 300
Welcome! Looking forward to your hammock gear decisions! Not such a big dude but have a friend who is that I want to get hanging!
Well i believe i might have to change my name now... 6'9" and 255 (down from 300). I am really loving the benefits of hanging too. Welcome
Wow Thank you all for the welcomes!! I'm so excited to get out there and hang!! I hope to meet some of you all and camp as well!! I as of right now am sportin a new Kammok roo!! its actually really comfy!! but heavy too! It'll be great for day hikes and short camps! I got it cause of the weight limit. But I'm about to enter the famous world of the Blackbird!! Brandon said it will be fine as long as I take good care of it!!
As far as suspension, I've been using Tree huggers. The ones that come with the Roo.
I'm really looking forward to experimenting with all kinds and see which one I feel safe in!!
I'll have some video about that soon!!
Thanks @SnoreMachine for the great info!! and to you all thanks again for the welcomes!! I have a trip next month and in july and there will be plenty of video to share!!
Thanks

All my morning aches and pains went away when I discovered hammock camping!
Welcome from MD! I'm in at 6'4" and right around 275. I shyed away from hammocks until I found out someone actually had a rating of 400 lbs. Looking forward to your channel.
I started a couple of weeks ago and already lost 20 lbs. I'm 6'1" 250, hell I'm eating dehydrated campers food for lunch just about every day. STAY AWAY from the chili, I cleared three rows at Gander Mt. after work today.
