I use the "underblanket" from DD Hammocks. (Same thing; different name.) Tested it down to the mid-20s F with my GTSBP and I was fine after getting it adjusted.

The DD under quilt has lanyards on the side of it for attaching it to their DD hammocks. Can't use those lanyards on SKP (nothing on SKP to tie to) but the attachment of them aren't really needed anyways. Hammock sits down into quilt just fine.

I reckon any would work just fine. I use my DD underblanket with my WBBB and my wife's GT-SBP.

    Great minds...

I don't know of any that won't work. I'm pretty sure all those designed for gathered hammocks work fine. There's tons of discussions comparing the different ones.

I've used a Phoenix and Jarbridge fine with mine, and also a full length pad

well in an attempt to remove so much of this extra fabric I've taken it upon msyef to pin up the extra fabric, sew it and cut off excess fabric. Anybody else done this? First attempt was unsucessful because the netting was too thin to sew, thinking about ordering some grossgrain to run the length of the hem and sew it on both sides.

Just about to start modifying my GTSBP today. Looking at doing the ridgeline mod like Grizzly did, how has everyone found the mesh holind up over time after sewing the grosgrain either side?

Does anyone have any close-up pictures of this mod on their hammock to really show the detail of the connection of the grosgrain to the hammock, and the stitching on the two grosgrain patches? Really want to see this up close before I start sewing and burning things. Great guide! I'm beyond excited to do this. Absolutely dying to try it out.

Here are some close ups. The top grosgain its a little longer to sew to the fabric for added strength. Sorry for the sewing job, i don't own a thread injector so I just hand sewed with a back stitch.

THANK YOU!!! What a quick reply, and great pictures! Thanks for clarifying that only the one side is stitched to the hammock. Apparently I can't read and missed that part, and would've tried to do something terribly stupid to sew both sides to the hammock.

Also, your stitching looks fine to me! (Zero sewing experience - I wouldn't know bad stitching, anyway )

Thanks again! I am reaching dangerous obsession levels with this stuff. Absolutely in love with hammocks, and have already annoyed all my other friends enough by getting way more into it than they did. This will be a great outlet haha.
