Hard to beat anything from Jared at Simply Light Designs, especially when you consider cost and turn around time. I would highly recommend anything in his lineup of hammocks. Don't mistake his reasonable prices for a lack of quality either. You will find his level of craftsmanship right up there with the rest of the excellent cottage vendor community.

The Warbonnet Traveler is 11ft long and comes with webbing/buckles for $60. The Dream Hammock Freebird is another great option.

If you really want to go inexpensive, just finished my 11' with 2 way zip detachable net and overcover for $80. Sewing machine was 60 and a days worth of work but well worth it. I've also sewn all my straps and a few oft other friends as well. Of course it's turned into a hobby of mine now.

If we're talking DIY, for under $40...

Single-layer design would be even cheaper.

(You can put together a cheap, simple suspension for another $25 or less...)
