My 10yo daughter asked for her own hammock over the weekend when she was laying in mine (so proud!), so I decided to order one for her birthday that she could have for a long time and grow with. I think the 1.1 SL was the right choice since she wont be going out when it's very cold and she is pretty small. It will be really light weight for her to carry too, which was my main concern.
Anyway, I cant wait to get it and get our first Father-Daughter backpacking trip planned!
