    small world

So, I'm 3 weeks into my month on the AT,in the cambell shelter in VA.
A guy pulls in at dusk. We exchange trail names
And he goes ape. "GRINDER!! From hammock forums?"

Turns out its SKREWLOOSE from Jacksonville

He's hanging while I am in the shelter,so you know who's the best posterboy for the forum.

Yep! It is a small world. Thats really an incredible story. Go figure that someones comes into a camp and alredy knows you by your trail name! Good luck to both of you on your hike!

Got dozens of those small world stories. Remind me on our next hike and I'll relate a few.

Sounds like you're making good progress, enjoy and take care friend.

We're all envious of your trip Grinder! Its great you're running into members of HF out there, goes to show you how we're growing into the mainstream. Keep on trekking my friend!

It's wonderful to hear from you Grinder!
You're making good progress. Be careful out there and enjoy yourself.
