can I make Whoopies out of this?

    http://lawsonequipment.com/All-Produ...Wire-p514.html

Is this stuff the same as dynaglide that others sell? wanted to make some whoopies so didn't know if I could pick this up here or if I needed to go elsewhere, thanks.

Looks good to me if your sub 220lb in weight. I'd be happy with whoopies made from them.

Well it is a single braid line so various splicing methods work quite well with it. I've done fixed loops, adjustable loops (whoopies) & continuous loops all with that line without much trouble. I've never used any of them in a real load bearing capacity, just tarp guylines, but I do believe it's just dynaglide in a custom orange color.

I have a rule about suspending myself from cordage (well, several rules, but one in particular that seems to fit here.) If the specs say something like

    'Weight Rating: 1,000lbs'

    instead of something like,

    tensile strength 1,000 lbs.

    or

breaking strength 1,000 lbs. with a safety factor, I look for something else.

It does say "Weight Rating: 1,000lbs" AND "break strength of 1,000 lbs" in the description on Lawson's site, FWIW.
