thoughts on this system

Plan on testing it soon, but wanted to get some opinions from you guys as well.
My travel hammock has hooks at either end to attach to the supports.

i picked up some 1" webbing and I'm trying to avoid any DIY sewing loops or knots that are going to be a pain to undo. I'm thinking a larks head to attach the webbing to the hooks and back it up with a slippery hitch (i think thats right, half hitch with a bight for quick release).

to secure to the tree I plan on using the improved hammock knot as shown here http://www.imrisk.com/hammock/improvedknot.htm


anything I'm missing or not considering or should consider?

you might consider a JrB "tri-glide(s)" on the tree side. one less knot.

checked it out this afternoon for a couple hours and it worked great. easy to undo and easy to put together.

like the avatar too, I used to have a ferret that spent more time in his hammock than out of.
