    My IX UQ

My Insultex came from DIY Gear supply Saturday so I thought I would get my underquilt done. Using sclittlefield's directions it was easy to complete. The only downside was my local wally world was out of black grossgrain and I was impatient so I used the white that they had.

    Here are some Pics.

My Oldest son with the quilt on his hammock for fit.

Finally a stuff sack with the quilt compared to a Nalgene for size.

I may add scum's HorseCollar Draft Tubes after I can test it outside. Hopefully that will come in the next week or so.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Nicely done! Just built one of these bad boys for a close friend.

I am not a die hard winter camper. I am hoping for freezing maybe lower. It is 3 layer. I took a nap today using it in the house with a fleece blanket on top. I woke up too warm. Gonna go hiking tomorrow and may try a nap in the woods with it.

I need to take it and weigh it. I will try to do that tomorrow.
