    This is what I love about paddle camping, we don't have to count grams and we can bring creature comforts.

    We need to plan on a meeting place. Where is the best place to leave our cars where they will be safe? Marina, Campground? I think someone said something about a Forest Service Office that allowed parking behind a locked gate?

    we left our cars at the boat ramp for the weekend. Drove down to the lake and unloaded everything then pulled back up to the top.
