Smile baxpax.org hikes the Council Bluff Lake Trail, Missouri

    Council Bluff Lake Trail
This 13 mile trail outlines Council Bluff Lake, Missouri.
02/10/12 - 02/12/12 Weekend was beautiful, although temperatures were in the single digits and the wind off the lake had a bit of a bite, but our HammockGear Incubators kept us fuzzy at night. This is a video mash-up of the footage from my new GoPro camera. This is my first video ever. Feel free to leave me comments.

Thanks Owl. It was a fun trip. After the Kansas Hang, we really wanted to do another Lake Trail and boy did we find a gem. No one was out last weekend, so we had the entire lake to ourselves. It was a beautiful trail and unbelievably clean and maintained. I'm sure this is over populated in the spring, but it got down to about 9 degrees both nights, so no one else was brave enough last weekend.

We backpack about every other weekend in Missouri. If anyone ever wants to baxpax with us, give us a shout.

Yes sir, Southwest of Postosi about 22 miles.

You can find more trail information on our website, although the Council Bluff Lake Page is still under construction.
