I like that, too. The conversations are what makes a hang great, and are what is usually missing from a photo album. BTW, did you notice the video thumbnail? Look behind the "play" button in the middle...I thought that was very appropriate...

It was a great time. Love to have you come some day, Shug, you are on my list of people to meet/hang/hike with.

Thanks, I think music is an important part of a video. I usually try to pick something appropriate, and this time Maztrain picked for me! It's a very funny thing, though, how there are times that the lyrics fit the video so well it's like it was pre-planned. I can only take credit for a few of those times. The rest is just how it works out.

(Only next time, I'll try to avoid the midnight hike into the Wise Shelter. But the stream crossing did add a bit of excitement to it all!)

    Kudos,

Thanks, HR. Great to meet you. We'll have to get together some time closer to home...

Great video, Scott. I, too, liked the laughter around the campfire. Obviously a good time even if the weather was 'good'(?)

One of my favorite types of hammock videos is the big group hang “fly on the wall” type videos. Me being 14640.7 kms or 7900.1 miles away, the fly on the way approach to shooting a video allows me to kind of be there and tune in to some of the conversations. I really liked the around the fire part. Very nice fire, by the way! The photos at the end of the video are fantastic! I was thinking, wouldn’t it be great to get ALL the Hammock Forum members together for a photo shoot. Thanks big time, bonsaihiker for making the video the way you did!

Side Note: Why can’t I think of things to say like, “Looked like quite a wing-ding hootananny!” LOL Only Mr Shug could come up with something like that to say about a group hang!
