    Right pretty hike...

Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.

Very nice! I may have to check out more of the Foothills Trail.
"The Road goes ever on and on,
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.
    Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

That's funny. I did the Laurel Valley Rd access to Laurel Fork Falls and back out two weeks ago.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

That looks like a great place. Trail through the woods, waterfalls, bridges,,,what's not to like. Looks like WL is putting out some good gear. Thanks for sharing

I agree. You hit many of the trails that are easy for me to reach on a 3 day weekend and always give me another trail to add to my destination list. And, your videos hit the spot when it comes to getting a vicarious thrill.

Nice trip report. I was hoping to backpack the Foothills Trail over the Christmas holidays last yr but it fell through
