Bridge makers: made a cot like summer bridge?

I was wondering if any of the bridge guys have made a hammock that is something like 28" wide in center, 6" or 8" curve, fabric ends are like 38" with bars something like 28" to 30"? I was thinking it would be interesting to build a summer use bridge hammock that would function as close as possible to a cot but still keeps some of the bridge hammock stability features? Does what I'm asking make sense?

If you have pictures please share. Also, if you have made something along the lines of what I suggested above could you share your experience and advice. Measurements would also be appreciated.

Not quite what you're looking for, but well worth looking at: BER's "Cloud" Bridge and "Cirrus" Bridge. Both are considerably flatter side-to-side and wider than the Griz Bridge that Angry Sparrow shared with us at Mt. Rogers.

My first Bridge was around a 30'' waist. Ends are 54 with 36" spreaders. I find the 30'' center to be way too skinny for me. My knees stick out when I curl up and things seem to fall out of it more than usual.

The purple-and-black winter bridge hammock I took to Mt Rogers is 48" width, 32" waist, 36" spreader, and 27" spreader. It is very stable. Very bulky winter gear does tend to spill out in the middle, but you are talking about a summer hammock.

Have you read the thread on TeeDee's Minimal Bridge hammocks?

I haven't seen those threads. I've read his other posting about how to make a bridge and building principles. I'll check his postings but could you provide a link in case I don't find the thread? Also, I'm about to check your photos page but if I don't see the hammock could you post a few photos? I'm usually not this needy...I think.
