Does your ccf pad meet your underquilt as Raul mentioned or does the UQ cover your legs when on your side?

Either way I lay the pad covers up to the quilt so that none of me is without under-insulation. My UQ reaches to about 2-3 inches below my knees, the pad and socks together make up the lower leg insulation. With the socks I can go to a lower temp with a thinner pad. If I were to scrunch up a fair bit then I could be covered by just the UQ but I would be scrunched enough to be uncomfortable.
