Hi again from Central Illinois

Howdy all,

I've been a member of the forum for several years,however, I have not been active. I am trying to "reactivate" my self here and try to learn from all the good folks on the forum. I've been hammocking sollely for the last 2 years, being woodsy, outdoorsy for the last 15. Feels like the hammock bug has really grabbed hold, and I hope to be a useful member of this community.

Hello Bartman, I am also from central IL and do a little hang time when I can get out. I see you are a towboat Captain, would that be on the IL river in the Peoria area by chance? I live in Canton and would be interested in hiking and hanging if the time was right. The Peoria Backpackers Meetup group is headed to Sand Ridge in Feb., on the 25-26 for a hike and over-nighter if you have any interest in that. Welcome aboard, from one Capt. to another.
