    WTB: Stuff

Just purged some gear, and now I need more. Trying to get a few things on the cheap, if possible.

Rain Chaps - The lighter the better.. Cuben would be excellent, but I'll take Sil. ~3-4 oz. I have a pair of sz. medium Marmot PreCip pants to trade, if that's your thing, or I'll pay with dollars. If I can't find chaps, I'll just carve up the PreCips.

Insulated pants - Probably better off with synthetic. Wet winters here in Oregon. I'd make my own, if I could find some Primaloft for cheap (if you have a good source, help me out!)

Down hat - Black Rock or like, size medium.

    PM me yo

Insulated pants or zip on bottom insulation? I've a set of EMS insulated pant liners with full length zippers, size Medium. They're Polorfleece with wear panels for the bottom and knees. They were sold as an accessory for EMS snow pants a few years back.

They need a new zipper pull piece on the upper end of the left size, but are in fantastic shape otherwise. On the rare occasions I wear them, I'm just careful not to put much pressure on that end, use the reinforcing Velcro strap, and the zipper holds.

Let me know if you're interested,

    Mike

Check therainshed.com for primaloft. Good price, good service, and they ship pretty quickly. They shipped my last order the same day I placed it. Looks like you're less than 2 hours from them too. Not sure if they take walk-ins though.

niiice.. great heads up there.. and they are just down the road! They take walk-ins on weekdays, so I think I'll just head down and pick up some stuff to DIY. I bought sil to make chaps too, so I think I'm no longer looking..

i'll keep it in mind, if you don't sell in the meantime - I do want to take a trip out to the Rain Shed and see what I can get as far as Primaloft is concerned, but I am definitely interested!
