I am hoping that you can help me. I noticed in your thread that you hiked the Bartram Trail and I am interested in the section that leaves from Russell Bridge and goes to Adeline Ford. It's just going to be an overnighter and I am taking a friend that hasn't backpacked and this seems to follow the River for good views. You wouldn't happen to have a gpx file for this hike would you? It does matter if it is for the entire Bartram I can find the section that I need. I would really appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks

Cool trip. I need to go do this. It's less than an hour from me and I've never been on it. Thanks for sharing this.

    Bartram Trail GPS

    PreciousPixie,
I tried to upload my GPX file for the Bartram Trail but I got a message that it was an invalid file.
If you will PM me your email, I'd be happy to send it to you.
It includes the South Carolina portion along with the Georgia and North Carolina pieces.

I just recently have bumped the Bartram Trail to the top of my list and have started some serious planning.

I used the books in the attachment to mark camp sites, scenic views, waterfalls and some critical water sources for the entire trail.
I broke it up in sections to exactly match the sections in the books.

Let me be clear. I have not hiked the trail yet, but I believe the camp sites to be pretty accurate.

If anyone knows how to attach or upload a .gpx file, I would appreciate the assistance.
