New Year's resolution off to a good start

My New Year's resolution is to lose some weight - pack weight that is.

I just ordered a Warbonnett BMJ tarp - I figure my pack just lost about 20 oz.

I've carried a Coleman single burner stove for years. That will soon be replaced with either an Emberlit or a Honey Stove. That will be another 2+ pounds easily

In the past, all my trips were either car camping or canoe trips. Lately (since retirement) I have time for backpacking. So, need to lose some pack weight. Double portaging doesn't lend itself well to backpacking .
