Algonquin Provincial Park, May 2011, First Time Hammock Camping

Great report! I, too, did my first hammock camping trip on a canoe trip. We went to Wabakimi last August for a week. It's almost all black spruce up there and I had trouble finding a safe place to hang a couple of the nights. But I will be going back north next summer with my hammock.
