Osprey Hornet pack without lid. Sierra Designs 15 degree Nitro down bag. Grand Trunk Nano 7 with whoppies, straps and toggles on marlin spike hitches. Bag pulled around hammock. Zpacks hammock tarp with doors. Columbia down jacket and Montbell ultralight down inner jacket. Black Rock down mitts, cuben fiber mitten covers, black rock hat, fleece beanie, flamethrower down booties. Headlamp. Spare batteries. Kindle. That's all I'm packing.
Grand total -- 7 pounds. Yippee. Will dash out of work at 4, eat in car on way to trail head. Hike in to secret stealth camping spot at top of mountain with gorgeous view. Finish setting up camp by 5:15. Turn on headlamp and read Kindle. Sleep like baby. Tiptoe down mountain shortly before 7 as light allows. Slap-dash shower and dress for work, in office only about an hour late. Nice. This setup is good for me down to 5 degrees if I add a pad inside the hammock, which doesn't trouble me at all. And I take the down jackets that I was packing for sitting around camp and put them on top of my chest inside the bag, and use a cuben vapor barrier liner. Cold weather doesn't worry me with this setup.
