I think I need bigger tree straps....

So a friend and I went scouting location for a meet up for you guys (something less involved than the SC Fall Sprawl in Santee) and we stopped by for some beauty at Magnolia Plantation.

This was less for yall than it was just to have some fun, but I have to say, this could be pretty cool for some hangers.

check these pics out we took of a few trees...theres one set that the BRANCHES would work better than the tree trunk itself...youll see why..

anywho, Im talking with them now and will make a planning thread if this works out, but I really wanted to share some awesome potential hanging spots.

you could hang side to side between these 2 branches...

Might as well just get a couple of big 3" ratchet straps from the store and wrap one around the middle. You could have half a dozen people hanging from each one like spokes in a wheel....

    Majestic trees!
on the serious side of needing bigger THers I've either needed bigger ones or needed to go around one more time to shorten my reach but I had these with me both times:

I think if that were the spot, I'd hang really high in the branches. Gaters? I guess they can't climb like bears, but I'd want to be high enough that I wouldn't get bit butt syndrome.

Lol. I'd worry about that too. They just might fancy cold meats.

You guys have got it all wrong. You just make sure the nice feller who cooked for everyone sleeps closest to the water. Their screams will give you enough warning to climb up on the branches.
