What does your HF Screen-name mean?

There was (apparently) already a "Big Dave" here.
Big Dave is the name I received freshman year at Penn State mostly because I was(am) much larger than the other Dave "Little Dave" on our dorm floor.
Several years later (when my friends started reproducing) my friends' daughter dubbed me "Great Dave". A title that I did not earn but am proud to carry.

Ironlungs: It was a descriptive for my stamina a local sportswriter gave me in my cross country running days, way back in the days.
Today, it applies more to my bicycle riding extended distances, and I am hoping one day will be my "trail name" for hiking the AT. It's gotten a tad bit rusty in my older years.

My name comes from my former Army rank, Sergeant First Class (SFC) and that I am a UF alumni (Gator).

Mine is in reference to my jeep. It is extreme in my eyes and the model is a TJ.

First post to explain my handle. I'm a diesel mechanic by trade. Everything from boats to excavators. Handle is slang for mechanic. And yes, I have bent many! :-D

PS: Some folks accidentally leave out the first "r" in my screen name. Those make me smile .
