Mine is a play off how people *think* my name is pronounced which in reality is incorrect, combined with a frequent misspelling of my name

I like tying flies, and I talk about my cats a lot. After getting a few folks making positive comments on it in various video games, I just kinda switched all of my social accounts over to it.

I hike in my Vibram five-fingers, and am quite passionate about them - so was gifted the trail name Monkey Toes.
There are a lot of maddog’s out there, but I got the nickname while serving in the 1st Ranger Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment (exactly why is a slightly longer story best told around the campfire should ever we chance to meet). RGR is often used in place of “ranger”.

Mine is just another case of using my name. I think of it as my trail name, for life, given at birth.
I have a terrible memory to start off with and six different rounds of chemo over a 32 year period has made me near lobotomized and if I don't use my own name, I'd be pretty certain to forget who I was if I made a name up - and then I'd probably post replies to myself how wrong and dumb my post from last week was.
Fortunately my name is rare enough so that I rarely find someone at a forum somewhere squatting on it. Possibly me. Then I just add a + to the end.
It's got to be real simple nowadays.
Ko the crow/raven is a Jungle Book character. I used to be a cub scouts leader and as leaders we used jungle book character names for ourselves. Mine was Ko.
Still a scouts leader, but now of the "regular" kind.
I do a lot of solo canoe camping and it's also a personal philosophy of sorts...
Ardi - a variation of "Ardy" which is a shorthand name for the city Ardougne in the game Runescape. Beren - a character in Tolkien's book The Silmarillion.
I live in the "driftless" region that takes up parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois where glaciers never touched. The hang part should be obvious
Rheaven - pronounced Raven
Rhea (Ray) is my middle name and has been in my family for generations. I was given the name of White Raven by my Dad in a Father Daughter Girl Scout camp a very long time ago. I grew up and kinda maybe lost my innocence and became a lil more salty and bitter. ;P So I dropped the White part. Now my raven color is a black with purple highlights.
Ravensara essential oil is also my favorite essential oil. Woodsy and camphoresque and it blends well with mint and eucalyptus. It is both stress relieving and antimicrobial/antifungal/antiviral and a decongestant.
I like the play on words, and it is unique so I snagged it for a nick name/ screen name.
