Looks great! And that's a good idea with the rain flap too.

Feels good to complete some DIY project doesn't it?

It occurred to me that perhaps one could hang an organizer like that from the corners of a bridge hammock, even inside. Hmmm...

    thanks for sharing

Before I used to be all messed up on drugs. But since I found DIY, now I'm all messed up on DIY.

Once my Hennessy/Macat is set up and my food bag is hung, I have a 2# pack with about one pound of stuff in it plus what ever clothing I'm not wearing. My pack (GG Vapor Trail) has a fastex top closure, this is simply snapped around the head end of the ridgeline. My clothes are inside a granite gear roll top dry bag with a fastex closure that is also clipped over the ridgeline. My boots are hung from a cord loop that is girth-hitched around the ridgeline and hangs down through the entrance slit. I tie an overhand loop in the laces and run the loop through the cord and hook it to the lacing hooks on the boot.

I made a gear hammock for my JRB bridge the other day. Took about 30 minutes to make. Camera is having issues at the moment. Looks very similar to this.

I used 1.1oz sil and some shockcord. Works well.

    pockets

I put some gear pockets on the inside of each end of the bridge hammock. On the head end there are three pockets and on the foot end one large pocket. I use No-See-Um so that I could see what was in the pocket while in the hammock. I use one of the small ones on the head end for grasses and light.

    Grasses and light you say
You gave me an idea. Thinking of making a no-seeum pee bottle/water bottle gear pocket that I could attach to the head end. Gotta be careful to drink the right one. Thanks.

I keepp everything in my pack in a dry bag...

Under my tarp I tie a cord very tight and hang everything off that with accessory crabs... the pack and any spare clothes then go in the dry bag and that's left against one of the trees.

I have a waterproof backpack: the Outdoor research DryComp Compression Sack: (by the way an awsome pack)

    http://www.outdoorresearch.com/site/...mmit_sack.html

I have the slapstraps Pro from ENO, and I just hang the bag off one of the extra loops.

for the stuff I want to have next to me its a little more complicated to explain: I have a hang over style mosquito net with 3 clips under the hammock to keep it it together. I just attach a small gear bag to those clips, then when I need something, I just pull up my mosquito net. I will post some pics about it after my trip this weekend.
