    NX-250 waterproof comp sack

Hi all, im using the built in compression sack on the nx-250 atm but ive been wondering as to its rain proofing ability, can anyone tell me if the sack is fully waterproof and or advise on a good waterproof comp sack or cover that is. Im not seeking to go diving lol just dealing with heavy rains, thanks again Doz

Nope, it's not fully waterproof. It's considered water resistant...able to shed light sprinkles of rain, but not much more. A heavy rain would soak through the fabric.

I personally use this stuff sack for my NX-250...
    LINK (the medium-sized one)
...but, really, any appropriately-sized dry bag will work.

thanks ML, much appreciated, and those Cabella's sacks look fantastic! I have my adapted UQ currently without a Comp Sack, and my sleeping bag and having not as yet looked at measurments it looks as though i may be able to put all 3 in the one sack with the large one, have to have a read now, once again thanks a bunch, cheers Doz

Cabella's seem sold out on these dry sacks and i absolutely love them, the camo would go perfect with my badlands 2800 camo backpack, does anyone else know where i can get a similar lightweight dry sack? Im needing it to be on or over 11" D x 22" H and rugged for strapping to the back.

I want to leave my sleeping bag in my nx250 and simply pack them both in on top of my UQ, all in one ready to unpack and setup and pack back up easily and keeping it all dry, any advice appreciated thanks

Do you know what "water resistant" really means? It means the fabric will get wet.....it just doesn't WANT to!
