    Try garage sales in the summer. That's how i got mine for $7.00
    98 degree day and with the wife. Guy wanted $10 but i got him down to $7.00 It was a good day.

    I bought a Lands End two years ago for a bit under $50 w/ free shipping.

    They have a series of sales after the New Years. You can sign on at their site and get sale notification sent to you. That's what I did.

    Mine was size Large and weighed a bit under 1 lb. It's held up well for two years. It can be folded into a pocket which makes a nice little pillow

    I agree that Montbell are the best, but they cost over $150. IF You have to have the best. get one.

    If you don't want to freeze and are stretching a buck like a lot of us, this jacket will work out fine.

    I would wager this isn't the best price we'll see.

    As near as I can tell, this isn't the same as mine. ( no idea if it is better or worse) It has a detachable hood and no pocket to pack it into.
