Attention Travel Hammock Reviewers. Please Read!!!

There was a problem with the coating on the ATHH I recieved. So, I contacted Cheif Hammock Officer, and he decided to send me a Version 2 to test. I attatched a picture of the damage:

I'll have to pull mine out tonight and check the coating.

I would also suggest replacing the rope used to secure the hook. Both sides of mine started to break after the first hang.

The first picture is of the first side. I heard a Pop! I checked everything and it looked okay. You can just barely see the fraying on the left and outside near the hook.

The second picture is the other rope which gave me several more pops after I had been back in the hammock for another 10 or so minutes. It is a better picture and the fraying is much more noticable.

This is a review issue that I wouldn't have included other than for safety reasons. Good luck this weekend testers!

I have received an ATHH that I will test starting this weekend. Got Backpacker Magazine (no flames please) yesterday and the ATHH is shown with a paragraph or two in a review of "alternate shelters".

Has anyone not received their hammock? CHO said mine would be shipped 5/15 & so far has not arrived. I do not want to bother him if others are waiting as well.

Hey jeffjenn, I'm still waiting on my delivery as well, he left a message on my cellphone saying he was shipping me the skeeter beeter hammock, haven't received it yet though, I don't want to bother him as well if there are others still waiting. I'll just continue waiting thankfully and anxiously!
