I don't think the spot is definite, it is just somewhere Raiff and I have been. Ultimately it's up to him because it's his trip, I'm just along for the fun lol

I am good with that.
That is as good a spot as any, and it offers a side trip up Mt. Stratton if we want to tackle it. Unless someone has any other ideas they want to explore. I am up for just about anything.
Are you planning on using snowshoes? I haven't been paying attention to conditions there so far this winter, but VT usually has a fair amount of snow by this time of year.
Hiking on on the Stratton Pond trail then out on the AT/LT over Stratton Mtn makes a nice overnighter.
I'm thinking about joining you, but I'd probably have to sleep on the ground as I don't have a winter UQ for my hammock. I'd likely use a bivy sack and a couple of pads.

Raiff when are you planning on heading up of Friday and When are you planning on coming back on Sun?
i have a couple of extra pads if you want to borrow one so you can stay in your hammock.
Friday, leaving about mid to late morning. I will probably leave my house around 0930 or so. Which would put me at the trailhead about 1000ish or just a little after.
Sunday, I figured we would come back whenever we felt like it, but probably around early afternoon 1-2 ish.
I can me you somewhere in the morning and follow you up. It takes me a little more than hour to North Adams.
