Te-Wa: Did you order their hammock tarp or one of their rectangular tarps? Also, do you find the seams hold up sufficiently in windy conditions? Did you seam-seal?

Here's an asym HH tarp set up on the ground.
Hennessy "Typhoon"
I've got my rectangular tarp that does well as a ground tarp. I'd also recommend making a rectangular tyvek hammock cover that can spread out flat and serve as the floor too. I made one does it and only weighs about 5.5 ounces.
I've used an 8x10 Siltarp2 for 3 years. Pitch on the diagonal when there's a large distance between trees, tent-style when space is short. Many on-the-ground configurations possible, designed to be used with trekking poles. Inexpensive, lightweight, versatile.
I got mine with my REI dividend before they switched to Kelty tarps.
