I didn't elaborate in the video, but there are actually two places at each end that are adjustable. The small dynaglide whoopies (or loopy slings - I forget which) connect the hammock ends to the ridgeline biner, and the main ridgeline (amsteel) whoopies connect to the marlin spikes on the tree straps. As mentioned, this is a product of the way things got put together over time, but it works. Next system will probably be simpler and lighter, but only if the ease of adjustment is still there. We'll see.
