    Good on you for losing weight and having the stones to get out and do something. I'm a big guy too, about 335, and I'm just getting into Hammock Camping. Look forward to many answers to my own questions on this thread.

    Warbonnet and Clark

    both have hammocks rated for us Heavy Hangers. I have one of each, and like both. I would contact each manufacturer wit your questions and concerns and make a decision from there.
