Well gonna cost me little more, haha. I got a strip lef so I just gonna run it on the other side. I will sleep on the reflector side it will just have that easy grip covering it which will still keep it from sliding even though it is on the top.

I've taken a combination of cheap CCF pads and windscreen reflectors below 10f quite comfortably. 3 mats and 3 windshield reflectors in between the layers are toasty at these temps for me and weigh 540g/ just over a pound.

    YMMV though.

Seems like you could make some wings with the shelf liner to connect to them to the main pad. That oughta keep your shoulder warm.

Sorry One more question...won't the grippy side make rolling over on your side or readjusting yourself difficult with it wanting to grip at your clothes?

Sounds real good! I really like the idea of gluing it all together and may have to give this a try if my other experiments continue to be failures.

Should work well. I've had a single blue pad & windscreen down to freezing no problem - pretty sure you could go lower.

I live in Texas and have been looking for some thing that I could make that would go down to the 40's I think I just found a great idea. I am wondering would this work with a 30* bag, just the two getting you down into the low 40's? Also would it work to glue some wings on it to cover your shoulders?
