Menastash Lake, WA November 2011- Video report

I made quick overnight stroll to Lost and Menastash Lakes south of Ellensburg, WA. This is a different Lost Lake than the previous trip. It amazes me how many "Lost Lakes" there are. My intent was to fish the lakes but an anticipated complication arose, so fishing was taken off the table. I slept in my hammock warm and snug. This was a trip for the birds, literally. I demonstrate one of the, in the woods tests, of my knives. I had a blast, hope you enjoy common' along.

Great report and that is some beautiful scenery. You know you've had a good trip when you include your own outtakes in the vid!

Was that a Wood Pecker? Here we go... How much wood would a Wood Pecker peck, if a Wood Pecker could peck wood. A Wood Pecker would peck all the wood he could, if a Wood Pecker could peck wood. lol I want one!

Thanks for the video, Buenos! You were only an hour from home and you looked very at home in thoughs piney woods. I liked the outtakes too!

I'm more into the lake fishing scene, but don't worry, that Tenkara gear will see a pile of use, next season. Now that the lakes are freezing, it's time to get the ice fishing gear out.

The forests are good places to test the knives. Work, work, work.

There was a lot of video to sort through. I make myself laugh, hopefully you got a laugh out of it too.

Woody wood pecker that was! There's a lot of wilderness to take advantage of, and a lot near by. I am a lucky guy!

I enjoyed your gear list video. You did a **** fine job cutting it down from 40 minutes to just under 8 minutes. Lots of good stuff and a good base weight too.
