Lightbulb Hammock & Sleeping Bag ALL-IN-ONE

I am trying to create the true all-in-one easy setup shelter. I have already created a hammock/suspension system using ripstop, whoopie-slings, and tree straps. My structural ridge-line doubles as my tarp ridge-line. My thought is that the only way to make this system even better would be to combine sleeping bag and hammock, and then have snakeskin's that slide over the two. I would also like to have the sleeping bag detachable so I could separate the two whenever necessary. If anyone has any experience, knowledge, or thoughts I'd love to hear um.

seems to me like a good idea. you could run a zipper around the perimeter of the hammock and sleeping bag then simply zip or unzip the bag.

Use an extra large hammock. I tried this with a sleeping bag that was comfortably my size on the ground, but wasn't quite large enough when wrapped around my hammock. The problem was that I couldn't lie at an angle that would allow me to lie flat. Other than that it was very comfy and warm.

It certainly seems like getting a flat lay on the diagonal would be difficult if the sleeping bag encases the hammock. At least an underquilt can be somewhat independently adjusted.

The sleeping bag would probably have to be pretty heavy just to encase the whole hammock like a cocoon, and give some maneuverability.

That hammock sleeping bag from grizzlymike.com that mattyg posted is sort of interesting. Make the base a little longer, add a dynaglide suspension through the top edge of the dark blue strips on the side, add some spreaders.....bridge bag....just saying'.
