You put a ridge-line on that thing and can forget all the stringing and restringing. Although my hooks and setup are permanent in my bedroom, in the field I make sure the hammock is reasonably level or with the feet end just up a bit, the ridge-line is not super tight and its a done deal. Feels like I put it everywhere else, in my bedroom, work, trail or off the it all feels the same. Sometimes you can play that ridge-line like a guitar. When I'm closer to right you can get a could bend on it, but the hammock feels the same once you get that ridge-line on there.
I also use three pillows at home. Small one under my head, standard single under my knees and a king size I hold. I'm a hugger but it also works as insulation. Holds my knees apart if I lay on my side or is very easy to toss off if it gets too hot, if my grand-daughter or one of the dogs decides to jump in and keeps my kittys claws out of my chest if she jumps in. Oh can she draw blood while she's needing up a good place to lay.
On the trail, or out camping at events, I usually get the the bunk when I can no longer keep from falling asleep at the fire ring with folks. clothes under the knees and the small pillow under my head is more then enough then. Insulated blanket for when it gets cold. But I do have nights at home where I've found a leg drapped over the side of the hammock. Usually, I'll kick it out and over to the treadmill for a good push and not quite get it back inside the hammock before I get rocked to sleep. I have had some of the strangest falling asleep times with the hammock that I never had in a bed. Last night I laid down, looked at my phone sitting above the ridge-line and said "I gotta turn the alarm back on". Didn't get it done.
