    A great time!

What a great time this weekend!! Thanks [o]TTeR for coordinating this!

Altogether a perfect experience for my second hammock overnighter. I learned about all kinds of new stuff from everyone: knot technique, 40 below quilt construction, newfie salad, and much much more. All in all, we enjoyed good company, food and conversation around the fire.

We lucked out with such warm temperatures for this time of year. When I tucked in past midnight I think it was only about 10c (50f).

The sounds of crackling campfire, coyotes, blue jays, and rain on my tarp was sweet music to my ears. After breakfast I just sat back in the hammock under the rain for another hour in the morning it was so peaceful. Nothing quite like it!

Thank for sharing the photos [o]TTeR, Chard, Distortedaxis. It was fun to show and tell when I got home.

Ontario hangers are a great bunch of people!

Good to see everyone again .... and to meet some new people as well.

Thought I would add a couple of the pics that I got.

Chard ..... looks like [o]TTeR beat me to the response

What you can't see is [o]TTeR has his "bird calling device" in his hand. I thought we were going to get lucky and see wildlife down there, but it was only an electronic version.

"Stealth Hallow" ..... kinda catchy ..... I like it!

I agree on it being a great year! I shot 4000+ frames on the trail in 2011; thankfully we posted 15 to 20 "Best of" shots on each Trip report as soon as we got back!

For me, the collection sets the bar for next year, I'm hoping I don’t draw the short straw for the Bear Wrestling shots, Spring 2012

Really hoping that I can eventually make it out to one of these great group hangs soon enough!
