    @Triggerhpy, yes it was some pretty country. I believe this was the first time any of us hiked this forest and all three of us was very pleased.

    @mbiraman, thank you, and yes the fashionable rain gear was an adapt to the circumstances deal. I left my rain gear at the vehicle, refused to except that a 30% chance of rain meant 0%. I guess they where right this time, but it all worked out.

    I liked the multi-purpose tyvek groundcloth/pack cover/rain cape.
