Do you use one under your hammock?
If so what do you use?
Has anyone made one with a pocket to put your pack / shoes in? Well why not?

...because I made the Gear Box instead!
A gear hammock can be set up to just barely touch the ground under your hammock, and it does just as well as if it is fully suspended.

I use a piece of Tyvek underneath my hammock. I put my pack on top of it and if I think it's gonna rain I put my pack in it's pack cover and then that on the Tyvek. My shoes go on the tyvek and my cloths I hiked in are hanging from my poles underneath my tarp drying.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

yes it's good to have a dry clean place to put your feet when you get out of the hammock. After that it's situation dependent.
Keeping in mind i don't use my hammock for back packing, i use my right wrist to get me where i wanna camp (motorcycle camping), I wrap a door mat around my waterproof bag and use that.
I made an all in one chair pack/ground cover, That i use.
