Hammock promotion (sorta) by Fairfield State park in TX

For those who use Facebook, here's a link to the wall of Fairfield State Park in Texas.

They just posted a note about the burn ban being lifted and fall colors....and included a collage of photos -- look carefully at the image in the upper right corner -- a hammock camper!

If it doesn't glitch on me, here's a direct link to the picture.

Nah, in general Texas state parks have been pretty hammock-friendly. I've camped at a dozen of them so far in my hammock, and had no issues. Plus, Fairfield is where we just had that great hang last weekend!

    +1 on Texas State Parks

I will say that Fairfield Lake SP is THE most hammock friendly place I have been. Most, although they allow hangers, require one to stay within the "improve area" of the campsite. You know, where the table, fire pit and one tree is located.
