Well done, sir. I appreciate your candor in the review.
I had considered getting in on the Kickstart, but missed the deadline.

A really well done review Grizz! Much appreciate the balanced approach, showing the "stripped down" version of the hammock for comparison, and suggestions for lightening things up

    Cheers

So maybe you had some emotional investment since you were in it from the (kick) start....so I am very pleased to see such a critical e.g. fair review.
Oh my word for the day is syndesis and though all the hammocks mentioned are homologous I'm sticking with the Traveler or Neutron 5-I'm usually sleeping in some kind of clothes and wouldn't appreciate this fabrics hand.
Could you not feed a whoopie though the chanel? Larks head to the whoopies dead eye and eliminate more metal?
Obsessed with weight! Me too! So my butterfly chair gets left at home more often than not.
    Thanks Griz-typical excellent dispersal.

sure could, that's SOP around here. I thought though to separate analysis of the hammock weight from the suspension line, and so suggested the ring replacement for the biner.

Dropping the rings will buy you 0.8 oz. To get into more serious weight reduction you gotta do what you do...lighter fabric. Thanks for watching and commenting...

Another in-depth review Grizz! Thanks! Many don't ever look at a hammock system in its component parts, especially considering each parts weight. This review was a good intro to doing that. As you well know, each one of those ounces is magnified several times over on a hike.

Thanks again for a great product review!
