That is some nice scenery WM. I especially like the area with the single tree in the middle of the field. I can only imagine how it must have looked in real life.

I will fix that tarp tie-out for you as soon as possible. I hope it did not ruin the rest of the trip...

Man...I've been trying to forget that freaking Offspring song since it came out. You just had to, didn't you?

Well, at least you get silly instead of angry when things get rough. That's definitely a healthier reaction than my own. Perseverance in the face of adversity is one of those things that makes for a memorable trip. I hope things got better for you after some sleep...

Definitely a very pretty area. I look forward to the third installment.

Great scenery, thats why I go out as well just loooooooove the views!

Wow that stinks with the tie out, one thing you could (or anyone) do in the future if that happens is if you carry a needle and thread (or dental floss) is sew a loop in the webbing or gross grain or whatever is used for the tie out loop and re-attach the tie-out rope or line and your set until you get off trail to get it fixed properly! Thats if you want to stay out and not get off trail!

I had a tie out fail on me (not my cuben) a while back and that is what I did to trail fix it and it worked great!

Looking forward to the next installment!!

Yeah man you really should see that field it's really awesome. My favorite part of that section. Black Mountain over in Harriman State Park (closer to the New Jersey Side) is my other favorite place to walk about.

It takes a lot for me to lose my cool. When things go bad I usually stay calmn and keep my head clear to come up with the correct solution to the problem.

Yeah it's the prettier part of the section East of the Hudson River which is why I wanted to go back there in the fall to appreciate it without being ravaged by the skeeters like I was in June.

I didnt want to compromise the tarp by modding anything in the field. I ended up working something out to get some sleep that night. It worked out well.

Watching this vid made me miss the woods even more and I was even out there this entire last weekend.

Really awesome scenery and that fence crossing was cool too.

But, man that sucks about your tarp. You just had to let part 2 end there so we don't know what happened. Bring on part 3!
