I found some interesting material that I hope someone here can help me identify. Here's a pic:



It's untreated and very breathable. It's incrediably soft, softer than my silk hammock. It feels like it weighs the same as the 1.1 oz DWR but is thicker. I can see my hand when I put it behind 1.1 oz material but not with this fabric. Did I mention how soft it is? The grid pattern in the fabric is much smaller than in any other ripstop I have seen.

At first I didn't like the yellow color, but it grew on me. There was barely enough there for a hammock.

I plan on using this fabric to make one of Risk's zHammocks, the dark gray on the outside with the yellow lining. I may whip it so the yellow is the outer layer and then I will look like a big banana!
