I too ride a recumbent Greenspeed GTO! Have a Burley trailer for gear. I suggest you dump the 8lb of tools. Been riding 6 yrs w/tire changing tools and tubes only.

A friend of mine I used to ride with used to say, "at the top of the last hill is what I consider the half way point." I used to wait for him to say, "OK we're half way," and I knew the hills were over.
