Glad you survived. Like others, I feel we must have details for the screenplay. And I must say those two sentences above from your original post have me laughing with their (I assume) unintentional humor. As a former writer and editor, I'm trying to rewrite those two sentences for you:

"I went to bed and slept like a baby, except babies don't sleep for two months at a time."

"I went to bed and slept like a baby, who is dropped from a second-story window."

"I went to bed and slept like a baby, if the baby was married to Claus von Bulow."

Or for just plain simplicity, "I went to bed and slept like a comatose baby."
