its 19 miles a day, but they are easy miles with flat out walking and water is easy to find. i cache my dogs food and will add extra if your bringing your pet. 56 mile total as per GPS car to car.

    Hey Karl!

Sounds like an ambitious plan. Given that I have been off of the trial for months now, I know that I will have to "start small" and go from there.

    Have a great trip!

    KK&K:

Just not ready for a 20 mile day yet. However, I'm thinking of meeting you at Batona Camp Friday 11/25. My friend KYBob (famous for using KY Jelly to make whoopie slings) might be joining me. We could get to Batona, set up camp, and maybe day hike to Apple Pie Hill.

Saturday we could hike with you toward Buttonwood, but will probably leave you to camp at Lower Forge, or maybe hike on to Mullica River Wilderness campsite. Sunday we would hike out to Batsto and then home.

Maybe we'll see each other! Syb, you still thinking of showing up?
