OK I currently have the No Net, the JH, an ENO DN and a Hennessy hanging in the yard. There seems to have been a misconception that the NN is the same as the JH w/o the net. It is about 2 feet shorter than the JH. Built the same way, but shorter.

Mine (the NN ) is 10 ft long. How long is your JH? I think the JH I used to have was actually a few inches shorter than my NN. Maybe they have changed the NN. Do you happen to know the actual measured length of both of your Claytor hammocks?

Stretched out on the ground, my JH measured 9' 6'' and the No Net 7' 10". Feels like I've been short-sheeted.

It is a dark olive green, very nice. Tom is working with me to effect a swap-out for a longer hammock, by the way. He responded very quickly to my email.

So he is saying that short No Net is a mistake which he is going to correct? Good deal!

TheNoNet Hammock takes the same dimensions and style of our very comfortable Jungle Hammock, but without the net. It has a double layer for insertion of a foam pad if desired, and the double layer also makes it smoother and more comfortable to move and slide around in the hammock. It iis a basic sturdy hammock that you can take with you and sling up anywhere. Design: This hammock has no mosquito netting. It is designed for light comfortable relaxing during the day or in areas where there are no mosquitoes. Easy to use, packs small and dries quickly. Should last 3 years with continuous use. Color: Dark Olive Green. Stuff Sack: Dark Olive Green. Dimensions: 300cm long x 125cm wide (10' long x 4' wide). Comfortable for a person up to 6' 7" and 300 pounds. Weight: .5kg. (1lb.)

In a nutshell, yes. He put the replacement into work right away after receiving my email. I could not be more pleased. Mistakes happen. His response in this instance is to provide excellent, personal customer service and do the right thing to correct the mistake. This story is going to have a happy ending!

I hadn't intended to mention it, but have reconsidered after reading the above.

One of my recent JH's showed up with a defective zipper. Had only 1 zipper not two (only way to zip it up was end to end).

Likewise Tom sent me out a replacement asap, and likewise I said things happen. Tom refunded my shipping costs immediately as well.

Problems do happen and Tom did give me excellent customer service. There will be a happy ending for Crocodile Sanders as there was for me.

But its a good idea to really look your gear over when you get it.

I kind of left this thread hanging....

The replacement full-length NoNet is perfect! Well, it is now that I rigged it with Whoopie Slings It is pretty much just like my JH without any netting, and just a bit longer. Super comfortable.

I'll have no hesitation ordering Claytor again if and when the need arises, he made it right and that's all I can ask for.
